Professional Development Opportunities: PSEA Eastern Region Continuing Professional Education Committee is offering the following professional development workshops:
October 26 – Concussions and Their Educational Impact —— This workshop is being held via Zoom. See attached for details including registration information. Pre-registration is required; RSVP no later than October 21.
November 11 – Bystander Intervention Training —— Back by popular demand, this workshop is being held via Zoom. See attached for details including registration information. Space is limited and pre-registration is required; RSVP no later than November 6.

FBI Clearances: If you have not updated your FBI clearances and are due to, please do not wait. Several places are backed up for weeks. I am attaching a helpful “cheat sheet” from HR. The second page includes several fingerprinting places. Remember, staying on top of your clearances is your responsibility.
Special Ed Teachers ONLY: There is an upcoming Special Ed meeting on October 7th. REA would like to have data from our perspective for this upcoming meeting. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey. It is ANONYMOUS. Depending on what the survey from special ed looks like each week, we may be sending out more of our own surveys.
