Personal Days: As a reminder, even though we are virtual, personal days are still able to be used. I am attaching the MOU that explains the use and pay out of unused/used personal days. I am also attaching the Personal day request form that should be sent to your building administrator. It is suggested that if you are having trouble saving the document, you should go to print (without actually having to print), and choose the Save as PDF option in the drop down. Additionally, the ONLY reason a personal day may be denied is if your building has already reached it’s quota. If you are told by an administrator that a personal day can not be granted because it is during a testing window (PSSA’s) please notify your rep ASAP. Professional Development: PSEA Eastern Region Continuing Professional Education Committee is offering the following professional development workshop:January 27 – Effective Remote Instruction and Distance Learning Best Practices —— This workshop is being held via Zoom. Elections: This is an election year for Executive board members of REA. At this point in time, it looks like we will have to hold elections electronically. It is IMPERATIVE your home email is up to date in PSEA’s system. Please log on to your PSEA account at www.psea.org and verify your home email. More information regarding elections will be available after the February Rep Council meeting.
