Travel Restrictions: Many of you have reached out to me asking if the travel restrictions the district has in place have changed since vaccinations have become more available to staff. At this time (which could change in the matter of hours) I have not received an answer from the district. Please keep an eye out on the Wellness Wednesday message as well as messages from me. For the time being please treat travel as the plan states. (Notification to the benefits office, 14 day quarantine, or negative test within 72 hrs of return)
Re-Opening Survey: Many things have changed since the last survey you received from me about returning to the buildings. If you could please take a minute and fill out the new Re-Opening survey I would appreciate it. Re-Opening: A meeting of all bargaining unit Presidents is scheduled for tomorrow. When I am able to share information from that meeting, it will be sent directly to the membership. Please understand that there are times that I need to wait and allow the district to put out information first. As stated in Kristin Boyd’s communication, any proposal from Central admin to the board will be shared with the staff prior and come from her office.
Special Ed: If you are a special ed teacher please take a moment to fill out this survey. We understand that the duties seem to increase daily.
