Good Morning,

Elections: Attached you will find the candidate statements for the Executive board positions. Rep council voted to keep our election virtual this year. The committee will be meeting April 16th and a FAQ sheet will follow to explain the process.FINAL Candidate Statements for May 6, 2021 REA Officer _ Delegate Election (3)

FFCRA: I am again attaching a flyer for FFCRA leave. If you are exposed to Covid outside of work, you will be required to take this leave. You will need to notify your direct supervisor and Lisa Magrowski. If Lisa does not respond within 48 hrs, please re-email her and CC myself. If you are exposed to Covid at WORK you will be eligible to perform your duties remotely (virtual instruction). This is ONLY for work related exposure. If you need to stay home for a dependent child quarantining, you MAY use your family sick time instead of FFCRA. I am waiting for the procedure as to how to notify if the time will be over 3 days. If you need to fill out FFCRA paperwork and do not have a printer/scanner, please take the information from the form and put it in an email to Lisa Magrowski.FFCRA Flyer

HEPA Filters: Per the company performing the air quality testing:HEPA filters should be placed away from the vents in the classrooms because if they are near each other, all the HEPA filter is doing is sucking out the purified air. It is suggested that you place the HEPA filter on the opposite side of the room of your univent (if you have a univent).

Mitigation Efforts: I can not stress enough the importance of following mitigation efforts now that we are back. You need to wear your mask, you need to not eat together with your team, you need to remain as socially distanced as possible. At this point in time there has been no disciplinary action for not following the Health and Safety plan mitigation strategies and I would like it to stay that way. We are all adults. We do not have to like the mitigation outlined in the H&S plan, but we must follow it.
