Column Movement: Per Stephanie Hackash in the business department, How the column movement process occurs each year: Since the deadline for documentation (9/15/21) falls after the first teacher pay for 21-22 (9/10/21), we process column movements that HR has on file as of 8/15/21 for the first teacher pay. Those who hand in documentation between 8/16/21 and 9/15/21 will receive a salary adjustment for the difference owed from the 9/10/21 payroll on their second pay for 21-22. We do the column movement in this manner to get as much movement processed prior to the first payroll and avoid an enormous amount of adjustments.

Quote of the week: “My friend it is solidarity we want. We do not want to find fault with each other, but to solidify our forces and say to each other: We must be together; our masters are joined together and we must do the same thing.” – Mother Jones

Be well,

Rebecca
