Read Across America Sweepstakes: Every year, Read Across America brings the nation’s largest celebration of reading into our classrooms. This year, for the very first time, you have the chance to win a free set of books from the 2021-2022 Read Across America calendar—for every classroom in the public school of your choice. The sweepstakes closes on October 7. This year seems harder than most and it feels like we’ve been saying that each year that we come back. I want you to know that your reps, officers, and myself see what a struggle it is for you. From coverages, to covid concerns, to buildings with health and safety concerns, we are fighting for you. Sometimes it may feel like a hopeless battle but YOU are doing an amazing job with what you have been given. I will continue to share how the educators in Reading are the most amazing, dedicated individuals. Please continue to share your thoughts and concerns with your reps so we may continue our fight.
Be Well,
Rebecca
