Good Morning!
I have several things for you this week. Please read through everything.
Formulary: You may have noticed a change to some of your prescriptions since the 1st of the year. Optum has the ability to change the formulary twice a year, January 1 and July 1. I am attaching a copy of the formulary to this email. You should have received notification via mail if a prescription you are on has changed on the formulary. Additionally, you may have a received a letter stating you need to have a maintenance medication filled via mail order, this is not an option. OptumRx 2020-Formulary
W2 and Dues: You will NOT receive something via mail. You must visit www.psea.org/directdues. You will need to click on enroll/update. At the top of the page will be a yellow box with a downloadable pdf with your tax info.
Split Class Language: Since the split class language has been finalized, we are hearing of many different directives from principals. You will need to fill out the split class form and submit to your building secretary regardless of the amount of students that are split in to your classroom. This must be submitted the next day for the secretary to input. It is the TEACHER’S responsibility to fill out the form. It is within the principal’s discretion to ask you to redo your split class list to be less than 5 students. You will only get paid if you have 5 or more students split in your room. If you are receiving different directives, please email your building rep and cc your level officer.
Sick Bank: The sick bank assessment was taken on 12/20/19. You were notified of this in a Monday Message. If you have a question in regards to the assessment please email Jen Mazur. Also, many of your FAQ’s can be found in the Sick Bank Policy located on the REA website under resources.
