Contract: Attached you will find the finalized contract. A paper copy will be provided to your building rep this week to keep housed in the building with other Union materials. Employee Assistance Provider: RSD has a new Assistance provider available for your use: From time to time, life can present challenges that can seem overwhelming. Reading School District is pleased to introduce a new vendor to provide help with work and life challenges. Beginning February 1, 2020, EAP and Life Management Services will be provided by Carebridge Corporation. The benefit entitles you and your family to six (6) free counseling sessions with a licensed professional to deal with stress, depression, anxiety, grief and other emotional concerns. Counseling sessions are available for every new concern. In addition, Work Life Specialists can help you find resources for childcare, elder care, financial issues, education programs, legal services and more. All services are confidential and can be accessed by calling 800-437-0911 or logging onto the website, www.myliferesrouce.com, Access Code: KH4RX.
Formulary: We are aware that there are still some issues with the Formulary/Optum/RSD. Please be patient as we are trying to rectify these issues. I would ask that you contact Lisa Magrowski directly with the problems you are experiencing. If you have contacted her and have not heard back within a week, please reach out to me.
Direct Dues: If you signed up for 2 credit card withdraws, you will notice the second payment was charged on Saturday. If there was an issue processing they payment (card expired, transaction denied, etc.) you will have received an email from PSEA. Please update your information ASAP (NO LATER THAN 2/20)! They will try charging the card one more time on February 22nd. To update your information, please visit www.psea.org/directdues. If you need assistance, please let me know.
