Happy last Monday of the 19-20 school year! This has been one that will go down in the record books for sure! As a reminder, this will be the last “Monday Message” for this school year. As the plan evolves for next school year, I will be in contact.
Insurance Premium Benefit: As a reminder, you have until June 30th to get a physical and submit your reimbursement form. This will save you 4 premium payments in October and November. It can be up to a $500 savings depending on your plan. You may find the form at: https://www.readingsd.org/Page/2082
Clerical day and Para’s: The President of the Para’s Association asked me to reach out to REA members to let them know that while your para’s would have been more than happy to come in and help with clerical duties, the district mandated that they were not allowed to.
Split Class Pay: The business department reached out to me last week to state they are missing many split class pay forms from teachers. This would be from the time of October-March. I understand with the shut down that we had to leave quickly and this was probably not a priority. If you have a split class form that you have not submitted to your building secretary, please do so ASAP.
Fax: In a cost savings measure, the REA office will no longer have a fax machine/number. Any documents that need to be received at the REA office should be SCANNED to president@readingea.com as well as the appropriate chair person or Officer.
