Thank you to everyone who attended the General Membership meeting yesterday! We have a wonderful turnout and will be looking at continuing our General Membership meetings with this platform. While this year will hold many uncertainties I wish you all the best. If there is one thing REA members are great at, it is adapting and overcoming.
General Membership Meeting: For those of you who were unable to attend yesterday, I am attaching the meeting minutes for you to review.
FERPA and virtual learning: This has been a question/concern for many of you. I am attaching a Critical Alert from PSEA that should answer many of your questions.
Returning to Face to Face instruction: Another concern that was brought to the Union was safety measures if and when we return. Direct Dues: Now is the time to update yours dues information! If you have had a change to your bank account or credit card you will need to update the system. You may also choose to change the way in which your dues are withdrawn. Please visit www.psea.org/directdues
Benefit of Membership: One of the many benefits of membership is the PSEA Lawyer Referral Service. It provides PSEA members and their spouse two thirty-minute consultations each year. Members receive a 30{785d64c9d7fbe93eeb1d0b5cf0d9179303a040b64432f89ec3696800e12e1b49} discount on the rates NEA approves each year. I am attaching a pamphlet for more information.
Furlough Information: Many questions surfaced in regards to furloughs during our meeting yesterday. Since the time of our last big furlough, the laws have changed. I am attaching an informational sheet for you to review the changes.
